This project involved designing a new website for the ETH Domain, an organization dedicated to expanding scientific finds through research, foster upcoming young scientists, and render scientific and technical services to advance knowledge and innovation.

The project was conceptual and served as a potential redesign of the existing website. Its purpose was twofold: to present the client with an alternative approach to their current design and to act as a personal exercise in exploring visual and functional solutions to enhance the user experience.

A key issue with the existing website was its lack of a cohesive visual identity. To address this, I introduced distinctive imagery for each research field within the ETH Domain. This approach replaced the placeholder images previously used and established a stronger visual connection with the organization’s branding.
